Security · Intruder alarms
An alarm you will actually set.
Most alarms get switched off because they are awkward or they cry wolf. We size the system to the building, put detectors where they belong, and set it up so arming it is a one-tap habit rather than a chore.
Surveyed first,
then installed properly.
Entry points, movement routes and genuine risk. The design follows the building, not a package.
Wired where the fabric allows it during works, wireless where lifting floors is not sensible.
Contacts, PIRs and shock sensors placed to catch intrusion without tripping on pets or post.
Arm, disarm and check status from your phone, with alerts that mean something.
An existing panel that nobody has the code for can often be taken over rather than ripped out.
Walk-tested with you, codes set up, and written detail on what each zone covers.
From survey
to handover.
We look at the building, the entry points and how you actually use it.
Panel, detectors, labour and any making good, itemised in writing.
Fitted and configured, cabling concealed where the building allows.
Every zone tested with you present, codes set, handover written down.
Answered
plainly.
Not usually for a home. A bells-only or app-notified system covers most domestic needs. Monitoring adds a monthly cost and makes sense where a response is genuinely required, and we will tell you which you are.
Ask them before you buy. Some policies specify a system installed and maintained by an NSI or SSAIB accredited company. GMAS Group does not hold those accreditations, so if your policy requires one we will say so up front and point you to a firm that does rather than sell you something that will not satisfy the policy.
Not if it is designed properly. Pet-tolerant detectors and sensible placement handle animals up to a given weight. Tell us about pets at survey and it gets designed in.
Often yes. If the panel is a known make and in reasonable order, a takeover is cheaper than a replacement. We will tell you honestly if it is not worth saving.
Wired is more robust and is the sensible choice if we are already doing works and floors are up. Wireless is far less disruptive in a finished home. Both are reliable when installed properly.

Areas we cover.
We take burglar alarm installation work across all 32 London boroughs. Most of our work is in west London, in Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington, Chiswick and White City, and in south west London, in Putney, Wandsworth and Wimbledon. We also work in south east London, in Greenwich, Blackheath and Lewisham.
If your property is outside these areas, call us anyway. We travel across London and will tell you honestly if a job is too far to price properly.
