Yes. We can take a sample and have it matched, or work from a manufacturer's reference if you have it.
A typical bedroom with sound walls is one to two days including preparation. Heavily damaged walls, extensive woodwork or a period room with cornice and panelling take considerably longer, and we will say so at the quote rather than after.
Yes. Void turnarounds are a large part of what we do. Tell us the handover date and we will work to it.
Yes, weather permitting. Exterior work in London is best done between spring and early autumn, and we will not put a coat on a wet or cold surface just to hit a date.

What separates decorating that lasts from decorating that does not.
Painting and decorating is the trade where the difference between a good job and a poor one is invisible on the day and obvious a year later. Two painters can leave a room looking identical on Friday afternoon. The difference shows up as hairline cracks along the caulk lines, filler grinning through the finish, and woodwork that has started to lift at the edges.
Preparation is most of the job
On a typical room, the painting itself is the shortest part. Filling, sanding, caulking, stain blocking and priming is where the time goes, and it is the first thing removed from a cheap quote. Our decorators price preparation as its own line so you can see it, compare it and decide, rather than finding out later that it was never in there.
The right coating for the surface
New plaster needs a thinned mist coat before anything else, or the finish sits on the surface and peels. Bare wood needs a knotting solution and a primer. A previously oil painted door needs a different preparation to a factory finished one. A decorator who uses the same tin on all three is saving an hour and costing you the finish.
Exterior work
Exterior painting in London is seasonal. Masonry and joinery need a dry, warm enough surface to cure properly, which in practice means spring to early autumn. Painters who put a coat on a cold or damp surface to hit a date are storing up a repaint. We would rather move the date.
Rentals and voids
Void decorating is a different job to a private house. It is priced per property, scheduled to the handover date, and uses hard wearing finishes that survive the next tenancy rather than the most expensive paint on the shelf.

Most of our work is in west London, in Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington, Chiswick and White City, and in south west London, in Putney, Wandsworth and Wimbledon. We also work in south east London, in Greenwich, Blackheath and Lewisham.
